Children & Youth

St. Mark's welcomes the full participation of children and youth into our parish life.

Baptismal Catechesis for Families

Families who wish to have their children baptized at St. Mark's are most welcome. The parents and sponsors meet with the clergy for instruction prior to the Baptism.

Sunday School / Godly Play

Sunday School meets on Sundays at 9:00 am; we use the Godly Play program. Other activities are planned for the children according to the church calendar. Every Easter the parish hosts an Easter Egg Hunt, and during Advent we do a St. Nicholas Pageant. St. Mark's has a long and wonderful history of providing quality education to children, developing their inquisitive hearts. Parents are welcome to join the Sunday Morning Forums in the Parish Hall.
 

Youth Group

Our Youth Group meets periodically for fellowship and a variety of outreach projects. Most of our activities are hands on and service-based. All youth and their friends are welcome.

The Preschool

St. Mark's has a Preschool on its campus. Every Wednesday the children gather in the church for a service with our priest and the teachers. Songs are sung, stories are told, and the children are invited to light candles before the Blessed Virgin Mary on their birthday.
