Stewardship & Proportional Giving
Members of St. Mark's are encouraged to give of their time, talent, and resources for the benefit of the church, the world, and our lives. Our goal is to be witnesses of proportional giving, understanding that everything we have already belongs to God. Join us as we strive to be a JOYFUL OFFERING to God, the Church, and the world.

Episcopal Outreach
We also raise money throughout the year for various outreach organizations. On Ash Wednesday our offering goes to Episcopal Relief and Development. On Good Friday the offering is for the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem and the Middle East, and especially for the ministry of St. George's Cathedral, Jerusalem. We also participate in the United Thank Offering every Spring, the major collection sponsored by the Episcopal Church Women.
Planned Giving
St. Mark's encourages its members and friends to practice Planned Giving. Parishioners may designate the parish in their will. The Episcopal Diocese of Hawai'i provides many resources for planning one's will in order that future generations may benefit from the ministry of our parish. St. Mark's has benefited in many ways from the generosity of past members and friends of the church; through such generosity the legacy of former members continues to foster outreach and mission.
Parish Work Days
We gather for Parish Work Days on a few Saturdays a year. Not only do we clean the church and do necessary repairs, but fellowship is strengthened and new friends are made.
Stewards of our Past
St. Mark's strives to be a good steward of our history, remembering our special place in the Episcopal Diocese, as well as our neighborhood of Kapahulu. To learn more about our past, check out our Parish History.
